The Illinois Fire Safety Alliance had 24 volunteers help manage the Fire Services Tent at this year’s Illinois State Fair on August 15th. Along with members of MABAS, fair-goers of all ages were able to view the largest fire safety and antique exhibit in the United States. Nominations over the course of the past twelve months have been received and award winners have been selected. The Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Board of Directors is pleased to announce the winners of the Corporate Responsibility Award, Special Recognition Award, Life Safety Award, and the Wayne Leucht Memorial Award, all of which will be presented at the IFSA’s 73rd Annual Fire Prevention Week Luncheon, presented by the Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board.
