SUMMARY:Quack for a Cause Ducky Dash - Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:1\,000 Rubbery Duckies\, One Epic Waterslide. Will YOUR Duck Claim Victory?\nGet ready to make a splash for a great cause! \nCamp I Am Me’s Quack for a Cause Ducky Dash is a new\, one-of-a-kind fundraising event where hundreds\, if not thousands\, of rubber duckies will race their way to victory… and yours could be one of them! Make a splash and adopt a ducky\, a quack pack\, or an entire flock and cheer them on as they take off down the Great Wolf Lodge (Gurnee) waterslide in a splash-filled showdown – bumping\, bouncing\, and racing to the finish line! It will be quite the sight! \nThe fun doesn’t stop there!\nFirst\, let have some fun\, get creative\, and name the duckies you adopt! Then looking ahead to the big race\, there’s quack-tastic pre-race interviews\, the wet and wild race itself\, and post-event awards and celebration\, everything will be broadcast and shared across the Camp I Am Me platforms\, so you won’t miss a single splash!* \nWill YOUR duck take first place and win $3\,000!\nSecond and third place duckies won’t go home empty either as they will receive big prizes for their victorious too!\n2nd Place – 1 Male & 1 Female 26″ Mountain Bikes\n3rd Place – Coming Soon!\nPLUS\, there will be additional Bonus Prizes and Surprise Winners along the way! \nAdoptions Matter!\nEvery ducky adopted will help send a burn survivor to one of more than two dozen survivor support programs offered throughout the year\, providing them with confidence\, connection\, and a place to belong. \nHow This Works\nOnce you adopt your ducky (or a whole flock!)\, we’ll assign your duckies official number so you can follow along with your feathered contenders. When all the duckies have been adopted\, it’s time to dash! An email will be sent with race day information and your duckies’ numbers. \nEvery ducky will hit the waterslide in a special\, closed event race\, overseen by Camp I Am Me and Great Wolf Lodge staff – all recorded for your viewing pleasure. After the big splash is broadcast on all our platforms\, we’ll be quick to notify the winners. Don’t worry\, we’ll give you plenty of notice so you can tune in\, root for your duckies\, and see if yours waddles its way to victory! \nNow What?\nNo skills\, no experience. Just pure duck-luck!\nSo… are you ready to pick your champion?\nAdopt a whole flock for better odds! \nAdopt Your Ducks Now & Get In The Race!\n

SUMMARY:Day at the State Fair (Springfield) - Volunteer Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, nearly 50 volunteers join Camp I Am Me at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield to manage the Fire Service Tent and provide fire prevention education to fair-goers. \nThe tent allows kids and adults to climb on fire engines and slide down firepoles while also receiving educational material on fire safety through various stations and activities. \nHelp us reduce the number children and adults that attend the Camp I Am Me burn survivor support programs by helping make a difference in fire safety education. SUMMARY:Boot Day for Burn Survivors Rally Dates (Statewide) - Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Support & Empower Survivors Through Community Engagement\nBurn survivors live with the physical and emotional scars from the trauma of being burned\, and through Camp I Am Me programming\, they can access a range of opportunities to – over time – heal from the inside out. \nWe ask for fire departments\, organizations\, companies\, and others’ support and help so that we can continue to provide our yearly Summer Camp\, burn survivor programs\, Family Days\, adult support groups\, and other events and activities that help survivors to be able to say\, “I am me\,” despite their scars. \nHow can you help? Your organization can host a Boot Day for Burn Survivors Campaign\, and hopefully\, as a tradition moving forward to help Camp I Am Me continue to provide programs at no cost to survivors and their families. \nCamp I Am Me is continually working to increase our reach so that all burn survivors in Illinois and beyond are aware of our supportive and empowering programs. Your participation in this fundraising will help us achieve this end. \nLearn more by clicking HERE!
