Camp “I Am Me” Blog – Monday, June 21st

Our first full day of camp went off without a hitch! Campers and counselors have all settled into their cabins, spent some time getting to know each other, and have begun participating in their favorite camp activities!

Polar Bear Fishing, Friendship Bracelets, Climbing Tower, Archery, Superhero Painted Rocks, Superhero Pillows, Volleyball, Superhero Banks, Playground, Basketball, Ga-Ga, Four Square, Boating, Chalk Art, Free Styling, Camp Songs, Secret Handshakes, Card Games, Pool Swimming, Campfires & S’mores.


Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs (option to add ham and cheddar cheese), Pancakes, Hashbrowns, Fresh Fruit, Bacon/Sausage, Bagels/Muffins, Fruit Juice. Lunch: Turkey and Ham Subs, Assorted Chips, Tator Tots, Watermelon Wedges, Garden Salad, Lemonade. For dinner: Stir Fry Vegetables, Steamed White Rice, Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki, Fortune Cookies, Garden Fresh Salad, PB+J. Evening snack: S’mores


It was a beautiful day! A the temperature hung around the early to mid 70℉ range, until the evening when it cooled down and temperatures were perfect for campfires.
