The Illinois Fire Safety Alliance (IFSA) relies heavily on donations, fundraising, and support from the business community through sponsorships to carry out the organization’s mission. The IFSA’s dedication to fire safety, burn prevention, and supporting burn survivors in the state of Illinois has not wavered over the past three-plus decades.
Supporters of the IFSA are not only making a direct impact in the lives of burn survivors, but also assisting in furthering the education of children and adults on fire safety topics to prevent these injuries from occurring in the future. Each year, there are 346,800 residential fires in the U.S. resulting in more than 2,620 deaths, 11,070 injuries, and $7.3 billion in property damage. On top of these staggering numbers, more than 400,000 people nationwide receive various levels of burn injuries that require medical treatment or hospitalization.
The IFSA’s sponsorship packet contains various levels of support for our upcoming events and programs and can help reduce these alarming statistics as well as support those who are a statistic. Contact the IFSA office at (847) 390-0911/jtzortzos@ifsa.org for additional information.
