Two Days, Two Family Days, Two Hockey Games

April 1st and 2nd brought two opportunities for survivors and family members to come together for Camp I Am me Family Day events held in Rosemont and Rockford.

On Saturday, the Camp I Am Me family joined in Rosemont for a Chicago Wolves game. The event, which was sponsored by 1-800-BoardUp of Rolling Meadows, Andres Medical Billings, and BluSky Restoration, allowed attendees to get the VIP treatment. Food, hats, great seats, and at the end of the game, everyone was able to gather at center ice for a group photograph.

Sunday brought families to the Rockford Fire Department for lunch and a station tour. After some fun playing bean bags in the apparatus bay and practicing using fire extinguishers, the group headed down the street to the Rockford IceHogs game. It was a great game for everyone to see, with all sorts of fun around the arena.

Both events, through the generosity of each of the Camp I Am Me partners, were made completely free to all in attendance. Thank you 1-800-BoardUp of Rolling Meadows, Andres Medical Billings, BluSky Restoration, Rockford IceHogs, and Rockford Fire Department!
