For 30 years, members of the fire service and others from across the state have worked relentlessly collecting donations on behalf of the Boot Day for Burn Survivors campaign to support those affected by burn-related injuries.
Boot Day for Burn Survivors can now be hosted in two very different ways. Personnel can continue with the tradition, on the street/in front of store campaigning, or host a virtual option in which social media and email-based promotion is utilized. Both can be very effective fundraising methods.
Whether you’re collecting donations at intersections or through your organization’s social media platform, your commitment to support those impacted by burn injuries, both young and old, will make a significant difference. During these times, when fundraising has been reduced across the board, every dollar counts and will result in the continued physical and emotional support through programs such as Camp “I Am Me,” Family Day, scholarships, and more!
