Be Alarmed! Program Distributes 13,000+ Smoke Alarms Since 2018

“Be Alarmed!,” which began in 2018, is a fire safety education and smoke alarm installation program administered cooperatively between the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance (IFSA) and the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM). IFSA Announces Launch of Virtual Support Group for Survivors

Beginning in February, the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance will begin offering monthly support group meetings for the burn survivor community. In an effort to support in-person programs that are held throughout the year, these virtual support sessions will allow Camp “I Am Me” campers (current and former) and other survivors of all ages to come together in a safe and accepting environment where they can feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
