The YMCA

Since 1991, YMCA Camp Duncan has been the home of Camp I Am Me’s Summer Camp, making lasting friendships, developing strong leadership skills, building self-esteem, and allowing children and teens to experience the week of a lifetime.  With 300 acres of woodlands, nature trails, and lakeside setting, Camp Duncan allows for endless opportunities for young children to unplug, learn, laugh, and make memories.

YMCA Camp Duncan is a nationally accredited camp through the American Camp Association (ACA)  In order to maintain this recognition, Camp Duncan continues to meet industry-accepted and government-recognized standards to ensure the proper care and safety of all campers.  Camp I Am Me Summer Camp adheres to all standards and policies set forth by YMCA Camp Duncan during our time at the campgrounds.

Located just 50 miles outside of Chicago, the 300 acre setting alongside Fish Lake offers endless possibilities for adventure including:
