Camp I Am Me Winter Gathering (Brookfield)

Camp I Am Me offers this no-cost, end-of-year, family-friendly event to current and past participants of the Summer Camp program and to the entire burn survivor community.
The Camp I Am Me Winter Gathering is taking place on Saturday, December 6th at Brookfield Zoo and will be a late afternoon/early evening of “Holiday Magic” and fun as this activity is available to all who have been involved in Camp I Am Me’s Summer Camp Program. Current campers and family members, past campers and family members, current volunteers and family members, past volunteers and family members – as well as survivors who have not had the chance to participate in camp. We are a camp family – we want to meet your family! Reunite with old friends and campers or come together with those you see often!
Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo Chicago is Chicagoland’s longest-running holiday lights festival! Featuring more than 2 million LED lights, this spectacular display transforms the Zoo into a dazzling winter wonderland. Stroll through glowing pathways, enjoy festive decorations, and experience the magic that has made this event a beloved holiday tradition in Chicagoland for over four decades!

Schedule
4:00pm – Arrival/Ticket Pickup & Backyard Grill Out in the Discovery Center – Savannah Room
-Dine, catch up with everyone, and then gather for a group photo
6:00pm – Stroll through the Zoo and take in the displays.
9:00pm – Facilities close (you may leave any time you would like prior to this)
