The Illinois Burn Care Coalition (IBCC) is a collaborative platform that aims to bring together doctors, nurses, social workers, physical/occupational therapists, and other medical professionals from Illinois hospitals and facilities who treat and support burn injuries and burn survivors. The primary goal of the IBCC is to foster a supportive community, be a hub for information sharing, and provide space for discussing support programs, events, treatments, as well as fire safety and burn prevention methods.
By joining the IBCC, members will have the opportunity to connect with peers in similar fields, share best practices, and collaborate on ways to improve care for burn survivors across the state. Additionally, the coalition serves as a source to develop and promote valuable resources for burn survivors, including connecting them with experts and support programs to help them thrive and build resilience.
The Illinois Burn Care Coalition is open to multiple representatives from a medical facility. Involvement from various professional backgrounds will not only benefit the survivors under your care but also contribute to the collective efforts of the coalition in advancing burn care practices in Illinois.
Participation will also result in highlighting the medical facility’s participation in a variety of collaborative announcements highlighting the coalition through website posts, newsletters, social media, and press releases.
