Circus Theme: Greatest Camp on Earth
Weather: Absolutely beautiful all day. Bright sun, puffy white clouds, a cool breeze. 72.
First full day was filled with loads of activities. Everything from early morning fishing from the dock to morning horseback riding, to basketball, High Ropes and Zipline, Outdoor Games, 4-Square/Gaga Ball and Climbing Tower. Campers also participated in a camp-wide art project as well as choosing crafts to do under the big tent that include tie-dye, bracelet making, coloring sheets, rock painting and more. There was also pool time and waterfront activities.
Leaders-in-Training spent the day at Soulful Prairies, an equine therapy retreat
After dinner everyone was entertained by a troupe of circus performers who showed off their skills at juggling, aerial artistry, unicycle and clowning around, before heading into the lodge for a fantastic magic show by John Stetson and Friends.
Activities: All of the above plus campfires and s’mores.
Breakfast Menu: French Toast, bacon, muffins, bagels, croissants, oatmeal, yogurt, cold options, fruit
Lunch Menu: Sloppy joe, fries, coleslaw, salad bar
Dinner Menu: Turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, salad bar, brownie
Snack: Bosco Sticks
