Camp I Am Me Family Day events continue to fill the calendar with fun and excitement. Earlier in September Camp families and volunteers spent a beautiful day at Rock Cut State Park in Loves Park, kayaking on Lake Pierce.
It was an adventurous program that had more than 50 family members choosing tandem or single kayaks, before they took to the water to be guided around the lake. In addition to the natural beauty, all kinds of wildlife were spotted – from turkeys, ducks, geese, herons, frogs, turtles, deer, and plenty of fish.
Calm waters and curiosity kept everyone engaged. Plenty of laughter and good times were had by all.

Remaining 2025 Family Day events for survivors and their loved ones include zip lining in Lake Geneva and an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge water park in Gurnee!
