Each year, nearly 50 volunteers join the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield to manage the Fire Service Tent and provide fire prevention education to fair-goers. Fire Prevention Award Nominations Accepted Through Aug. 15th

Each year the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance (IFSA) presents awards to nominated individuals, groups, firefighters, life safety educators, and others for their tremendous efforts in promoting fire safety and burn prevention within their community. Award recipients are highlighted at the annual Fire Prevention Week Luncheon, held in October.

Fire Apparatus Parade Taking Place at Camp This Year!

Illinois Fire Service! Camp “I Am Me” is back and the Fire Apparatus Parade will once again be held for our campers! Join us in celebrating the 30th anniversary of Illinois’ camp for young burn survivors. On Wednesday, June 23rd, participate with nearly 50 different fire departments from across the state for this camper-favorite activity. Trucks, engines, and command vehicles can have their lights and sirens on while they navigate the campground!
