Camp I Am Me, a beacon of hope for individuals affected by burn-related injuries, owes its success to the unwavering support and dedication of countless volunteers and groups. These selfless individuals have played an invaluable role in driving the organization’s mission for over three decades. Now, it is our turn to acknowledge their incredible contributions and honor their tireless efforts by accepting nominations for the prestigious “Above & Beyond” Volunteer Awards.
Each year, at the much-anticipated Friends of Camp I Am Me Recognition Breakfast, we celebrate the exceptional individuals and groups who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. These are the inspiring souls who have not only advocated for Camp I Am Me in their local communities but have also made outstanding contributions to our cause. We invite you to take part in this heartwarming celebration by nominating those unsung heroes for the award they truly deserve.
Award Categories
- Individual Award – Nominees in this category are individual volunteers who help advance the mission of Camp I Am Me.
- Youth Award – Nominees in this category are individual volunteers under the age of 18 who help advance the mission of Camp I Am Me.
- Team Award – Nominees in this category are volunteer organizations, agencies, educational institutions, government entities, businesses, and informal groups who help advance the mission of Camp I Am Me.
- Caper Brown Lifelong Achievement Award – Nominees in this category are volunteers who have demonstrated significant dedication to advancing the mission of Camp I Am Me over the course of at least 15 years. Their voluntary contributions may have been made through an ongoing commitment to one or multiple CIAM programs, events, and/or services.
