Camp I Am Me Families Zip Through Adventure

At the end of October, Camp I Am Me Families braved chilly and damp weather recently to participate in the Full zipline course at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures.

Due to the size of the group, multiple launches happened throughout the day with individuals and families conquering their fears.

Young people and adults spent hours in the fall-colored canopy, high above the ground, encouraging one another and high-fiving as each person reached the next platform to move them deeper into the woods.

From fun named ziplines such as Expresso, and The Beast, to spiraling staircases, to swaying bridges, completing the course definitely took some courage.

A Halloween theme wove throughout the course with costumed guides, festive décor, and the traditional Pumpkin Drop – where participants choose a small pumpkin to drop while they zipline down the last stretch. They aimed for a bullseye marked out on the ground below. Those who achieved the goal were gifted with assorted prizes including a t-shirt to commemorate the experience.

Lots of laughter echoed throughout the forest and smiles were had by all at the completion of the course.

Another fun Family Day in the books!
