Boy o’ boy, just another gorgeous day today. There was a single cloud in the sky, humidity was low, and fun and laughs a plenty. There hasn’t been a drop of ra….. (we don’t use that word around here – it’s bad luck). The morning was a sleep in day as everyone took in a lot of a sun during the long day yesterday – there were zero complaints about the extra hour of sleep!

2022 Camp I Am Me Blog – Wednesday, June 22nd

What a wonderful day today! The return of a “normal” Fire Apparatus Parade (presented by Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Initiative), Appreciation Day, and Fun Fair was a joy for everyone involved! Dozens of fire trucks, engines, and command vehicles descended on Camp Duncan early in the morning as campers participated in their first activity period.
