Fire Safety Advocates Honored at Annual Fire Prevention Week Luncheon

Camp I Am Me by the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance honored several fire safety and prevention advocates at the 82nd annual Fire Prevention Week Luncheon on October 12th. The event, which took place in Woodridge, included award presentations to the Arlington Heights Fire Department, Niles Fire Department, Carm Welsh of the Beecher Fire Protection District, and Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt of the Chicago Fire Department.

2026 Summer Camp Volunteer Requests Now Being Accepted

Even though the 33rd annual Summer Camp will not be taking place until June of 2024, Camp I Am Me is already beginning to prepare for the signature event. Camp I Am Me’s Summer Camp is Illinois’ camp for young burn survivors which provides a special and unforgettable one-week experience for approximately 60 children a year.
